Real Estate in Placer County is recovering nice. Prices are up! The median home price in Auburn is currently at $302,400 up 15.7% from last year (July 2012 to July 2013). Another big winner in the real estate recovering is Meadow Vista the median home price is at $340,700 up 21.9%.

There is a number of reasons why this is still an excellent time to buy or sell real estate in Auburn and surrounding areas; prices are still down from the high median price of $396,000 in 2008 and just as important, interest rates are still low. Currently the interest rate for a 30 yr fixed is 4.18% or a 15 yr fixed rate of 3.24%.
